We already knew this widow from our church family but didn't know the needs she had until she reached out. Finding herself navigating life without her husband now exposed the difficulties of how to get things done. She wanted to purge her home from some of the past projects and activities that they were once involved in.
This is where the CIA came in to help her and the family clean up, demo, and remove debris from the property so that things are easier to maintain moving forward. Through every step, she was there with overwhelmed thankfulness towards all the volunteers. We accomplished everything she desired and then some in five hours.
She gave us all hugs and prayers of blessings towards the CIA family. We exist to help where we can to show Christ's love towards others. We love because we have been loved by our savior, Jesus Christ.
