Moving on Up

June 2025

Moving a laundry room from the basement to the first floor so that she can continue living independently.

What an honor to come and serve a widow with such a huge testimony. This woman has seen a lot during her 90 years, some great blessings and some hard times, but through it all Christ held her steady.

Four generations of this family still attend and serve at churches across our community! What a huge inspiration for all parents to raise their children intentionally through the relationship with our savior, Jesus Christ.

Her request was simple, moving the laundry room from the basement to the main floor. This allows her to continue to live independently without the worry of falling down the stairs carrying laundry.

Every time we would be working on this project, she would share stories from her past and what her passion still is to this day, spoiler, her family. By the time we completed this work everyone involved felt like they were part of her family too and I cannot thank God enough for her heart to continue on through the good and the bad times. Leaning on Him to get her through the trials of this life.
