Ramp Landing

November 2025

Installing pavers at the base of handicap ramp so that wheelchair can access home entrance.

We have been blessed to come alongside a widow in Middletown who is the primary caregiver for her adult daughter. The daughter has been blind and multi-handicapped from birth so her needs can be complex. This mother and daughter still get out and about to live life as God would want them too. Attending their local church every Sunday and occasionally traveling to sing at special services throughout the country. Their story is a huge blessing to witness and be a small part of.

There were two needs that they needed help with.

1) The first need that they have is one most of us take for granted everyday. Being able to get to their car with a wheelchair had become difficult, especially during the winter months with snow on the ground.

2) Secondly, the single car garage had become a storage space for unnecessary items which didn't allow for their vehicle to be parked inside to stay out of the weather.

Through God's people, we were able to bless this family by installing a landing at the base of her existing ramp to connect a smooth transition to the driveway. Along with, disposing of items abandoned in the garage to clear room for their car to be parked inside. This gives them back the freedom they once had to live life and spread the gospel to everyone they meet.
