Serving A Servant

We recently met a single mom in our community who spends her days doing incredibly heavy work—her job is to help families who are going through crisis and hard times. Carrying the burden of those difficult stories can be overwhelming, and giving so much of yourself to others often leaves very little time or energy for your own needs.

Between her demanding job and raising her family, her own home care has had to take a backseat. She reached out to us with a simple request: help her get her yard cleaned up.

We want to step in and take this one thing off her plate so she can continue to care for her family and the vulnerable people she serves every day.

To make this happen, we are looking for a team of volunteers on an upcoming Saturday (TBD). We will be tearing up overgrown brush, cutting down small bushes, and clearing away vines to completely refresh her outdoor space. If you are ready to roll up your sleeves and serve someone who spends her entire life serving others, let us know—we would love to have you on the team.
