Sump Pump

December 2025

Helping a widow with a flooded basement due to sump pump failure.

Occasionally we have emergency requests that come along and have to respond quickly, is it was with this case. A widow in Fairfield Township reached out because she had no one else to turn to. We already had a two man team out working on a different project so they were able to swing by and assess the situation along with making the repairs that evening. This quick response allowed for timely cleanup of the flooded basement and started the drying process quickly. Which if you have had this happen before, getting dry ASAP is the name of the game.

At the end of the day, we were able to replace her sump pump with a brand new system, including a battery backup, at no cost to her. This is where the individuals we help see something different about the CIA. We are looking for ways to love on them with time and money in order to spread the love of Christ. It turns everything the world tells them is normal up side down. They can't understand it but can feel the love, which sometimes can be overwhelming. We always end in prayer after a visit, it is our anthem cry to thank God for the support to make the repairs as well as our longing for these who we meet to connect with Christ in their own lives. What a beautiful part we play in restoring His sheep back to Him.

Your donations to the CIA make relationships like this possible, without your support we would be unable to bless these families and share the gospel.
